OASIS
OASIS is a powerful suite of software tools that enables RF engineers to quickly and cost effectively evaluate and identify sources of interference affecting network performance. OASIS runs on a laptop computer and interfaces with a variety of existing spectrum analyzers from manufacturers such as Agilent, Anritsu and Rhode & Schwartz.
OASIS provides RF engineers the capability to:
- Record the RF environment at a site and compare that history to current readings to see what has changed since the last visit
- Remotely control spectrum analyzers for data logging or to enable a single “RF expert” to direct multiple field surveys from a single location
- Set emission masks and trigger monitoring alarms to clearly identify unexpected signal transmissions
- Drive test sites to evaluate signal strength vs. location
- Identify estimated GPS coordinates of interfering signals though advanced direction finding techniques
