Logistics & Procurement Manager - Kaelus AB, Täby, Sweden

Kaelus is currently looking for a full-time Logistics & Procurement Manager to join our team in Täby. In joining us you will play an important part to bring next-generation antenna solutions to the market. As Logistics and Procurement Manager, you will help Kaelus to grow, develop and improve our global supply chain operations. As part of the Operations team, you will work on multiple tasks at a fast pace, engaging directly with our suppliers. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver, who wants to exceed expectations, and is eager to learn and improve.

Job Title: Logistics & Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities​

  •  Organize purchasing, stocking and distribution of goods
  •  Ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at best cost
  •  Manage and coach direct reporting team-members

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare requests for proposals, analyze bids and make procurement decisions
  • Liaise with suppliers of materials, manufacturers, agents and customers
  • Manage forecasting and long leadtime items
  • Co-ordinate order handling with our Customer Service Representatives
  • Seeking out efficiencies and driving changes to improve quality, lead-times, and to ensure we exceed expectations
  • Develop and manage strong supplier relationships
  • Manage supplier contract pricing in our system

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor degree and 4+ years of professional experience in logistics and/or procurement management
  • or, 6+ years of relevant professional experience in operations, supply chain management and/or procurement
  • Experience from working with outsourced providers
  • 3+ year experience in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Procurement or Supply Chain certification - Lean / 6-Sigma or similar experience
  • Understanding of regulatory conditions, rules and regulations to manage logistics flows
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP system
