Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Research Engineer at Kaelus located in Täby. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical research and feasibility studies within the realm of mechanical engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, in particular RF, to realize new technical solutions for next-generation base station antenna products.
  • Drive innovative development of new mechanical concepts and collaborate with product development for introduction in our next generation products.
  • Occasional Business Travel (domestic/international) for supplier visits.

Your Profile

  • Extensive (>5 years) industrial experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on research and development
  • Profound knowledge of mechanical principles, concepts, and practices
  • Deep knowledge in material science, particularly in plastic and composite materials
  • Knowledge in FEM and CFD simulation methods
  • Familiarity with cost-efficient and volume manufacturing methods
  • Knowledge and experience with 3D CAD Systems, Solid Works preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Master degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken

Merits

  • Previous experience working with Antenna design, RF or electronic products
  • Fluency in Mandarin
