Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Research Engineer at Kaelus located in Täby.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical research and feasibility studies within the realm of mechanical engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, in particular RF, to realize new technical solutions for next-generation base station antenna products.
- Drive innovative development of new mechanical concepts and collaborate with product development for introduction in our next generation products.
- Occasional Business Travel (domestic/international) for supplier visits.
Your Profile
- Extensive (>5 years) industrial experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on research and development
- Profound knowledge of mechanical principles, concepts, and practices
- Deep knowledge in material science, particularly in plastic and composite materials
- Knowledge in FEM and CFD simulation methods
- Familiarity with cost-efficient and volume manufacturing methods
- Knowledge and experience with 3D CAD Systems, Solid Works preferred
- Ability to thrive in a team environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Master degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
Merits
