Designed to be deployed in co-located 700 and 850MHz networks, the Kaelus TMA2138 provides gain in the 700H & 850MHz uplink bands.

Current window alarm mode (CWA) is the default operating mode and can be configured to specific customer requirements. The TMA2138F03V4 is configured so that all LNAs are powered regardless of which R1/R1 AISG IN port has DC power. If DC is applied on only one port, the normal DC supply current will exceed the value tabled below. Please contact Kaelus for more information.

AISG signals can be applied to port 5 or port 6. The TMA unit switches to AISG mode when valid frames are detected on either port 5 or 6 and the port with DC also has the AISG signalling. If DC is present on both ports, power will be supplied equally between the ports. Sub-units 1 and 2 apply to the 850 band while sub-units 3 and 4 apply to the 700 band.

When DC is applied to the TMA2138F03V4 it is quickly switched through to port 1. If an over-current condition is detected, DC & AISG are disconnected from port 1. If DC remains connected to the load at port 1, DC and AISG are disconnected from the AISG OUT 8 pin connector. If DC is disconnected from port 1, DC and AISG are enabled at the AISG OUT 8 pin connector.
