For over a decade Summitek Instruments, Triasx, Allrizon and the telecom division of TRAK Microwave have worked to become industry leaders in design, manufacturing and consulting of RF solutions.

Kaelus is a business division of Smiths Interconnect (within Smiths Group, plc) and includes four brands:

	Summitek Instruments A global manufacturer of PIM Test equipment and training solutions.
	Triasx A leader in Portable PIM Test equipment manufacturing, filters, and Tower Mounted Amplifiers.
	Allrizon A global manufacturer of integrated radio products.
	Telecom Division of TRAK Microwave A global manufacturer of ferrite products.

In February 2011 Smiths aligned these business strategies through a single management structure which would allow for a more effective use of global resources thereby maximizing the benefits delivered to customers.

The name Kaelus comes from the Latin word “caelum” meaning sky. Kaelus represents the freedom wireless communications provides to a world without boundaries.
